           Welcome to Sportography.Based in Wellington, Somerset, we offer sports photography to clubs, event organisers and individuals.We charge no money to attend events* as we derive our income from any prints we sell. From those sales, we return 20% of our profits back to the client, making Sportography a fundraiser as well as a photography service.First and foremost though we're photographers, not businessmen, and we like to think that our work speaks for us. You'll find many examples of that work on this site. If you don't see pictures of your chosen sport here, don't worry. We're more than willing to cover just about any sport. We might draw the line at skydiving though... Our current team consists of professional photographer Mark Johnston, and image manager Steve Olive. Steve is a keen photographer too. Between us we've got many years experience in dealing with people, sport and technology, allowing us to deliver images that we're proud of and which we hope you'll want to buy. Image Sizes
Most of the images shown on our site are displayed at a 3:2 aspect ratio, meaning that the longer side is 50% longer than the shorter one. However, plenty of other ratios are available when purchasing, and as each print is individually handled, we always make sure that we optimise the framing for the chosen size..Pricing Guide
Our prices vary a little depending on the event. For example, we're able to charge less for prints at events attended by a large number of people. There are also occasions when selling images via download is desirable so we tailor the various options accordingly.The table on the right gives a rough guide to print prices, but it is very much for guide purposes only.
Should you be interested in large orders we are very happy to discuss bulk discounts.
We also offer customised work such as montage design, with prices upon request.
Payment and Postage
We use PayPal for providing online payments. That's the only option available to us via this site, though we are investigating alternatives for the future. You don't need a PayPal account to pay, just a standard debit or credit card.When it comes to postage we're currently charging £4.80 pounds for all orders. That's the price the lab charges us, and whilst we wish it were lower, we can assure clients that we take no profit from that charge.
